Ray Puckett graduated from the School of Art at East Carolina University and received his M.F.A. from the University of South Florida. He has worked at the Institute for Research in Art, Graphicstudio, in Tampa Florida as a printmaking assistant. His work has appeared in many regional and national exhibitions, and includes private and gallery purchase awards. His work incorporates printmaking, drawing, and mixed media with an emphasis on history and the human condition. Since returning to his home state in 1996, he has been teaching art at Enloe Magnet High School and continues to experiment with various media.
